Project Brief

Recently, JINMEGA brought its latest BIPV (Building Integrated Photovoltaics) solution to Gutian, Ningde, Fujian—the largest commercial edible mushroom production base in China, known as the "origin of China's mushroom industry and the window of the world's mushroom industry." This year, Gutian County has focused on the "dual carbon" goals and actively promoted the construction of the "PV+Mushroom Greenhouse" project, exploring innovative models that combine the mushroom industry with the PV industry.

It is reported that the "PV+Mushroom Greenhouse" project in Gutian County covers a total area of approximately 501.32 acres, with a PV mounting capacity of 27.73 MW. JINMEGA has utilized its latest BIPV integrated design solution in this project, successfully achieving roof-mounted solar power generation and mushroom cultivation, making it a dual-purpose facility. This effectively improves the utilization of local agricultural resources and promotes the integrated development of the edible mushroom industry with "green energy + ecological cultivation" in Gutian County.

BIPV with Dual Waterproofing: Comprehensive Protection

Gutian County belongs to a subtropical monsoon climate zone with abundant year-round rainfall, making waterproof performance critical for BIPV installations due to frequent summer rainstorms and typhoons. After careful investigation and analysis, JINMEGA's design team has adopted a dual waterproofing technology using water-guiding troughs and waterproof cover plates, ensuring 100% structural waterproofing and effectively solving water seepage issues. Moreover, the water-guiding troughs are overlapped without the need for adhesives, resulting in longer service life.

JINMEGA's self-developed BIPV roof system has successfully connected to the grid worldwide, enduring various construction environments and earning consistent recognition from customers. In particular, the high-quality water-guiding system in the system has received high praise for its excellent water leakage prevention by promptly draining rainwater.

In the future, zero-carbon buildings will be crucial for achieving "carbon neutrality." JINMEGA will continue to leverage its advantages and experience in the BIPV field, focusing on product research and development and technological innovation to create even safer, more reliable, and high-performance BIPV products that are convenient and efficient.
